Volunteer and maybe save a life
As part of our Doddi's Beach Club Swim Safety Plan, we maintain a Register of members who swim at Doddi's Beach, have current First Aid qualifications and are willing to assist should the need arise.
Ideally, we would like to have as many members as possible on the Register. Accordingly, the Club will subsidise any members who would like to obtain First Aid qualifications and volunteer on the Club's First Aid Register.
By investing a little of your time, you will acquire skills that may save a friend or family member's life one day.
Royal Life Saving Western Australia runs HLTAID003 First Aid (previously Senior First Aid) training at MARC. The next session is on Tuesday 13 April. For more information, click on this link RLSWA.
If you are interested, please let us know and register online for this or another training session. The cost is $109.00, which initially you will have to pay. However, if you forward the receipt you receive and your certificate to Treasurer Deborah at mandurahmannas@gmail.com with your bank details, the Club will refund the total cost.
