Fremantle LLCC 2022

We had 9 swimmers representing our club at Fremantle's swim meet last Sunday out of a total of 167 participating swimmers. Overall we placed a creditable 6th out of the 16 clubs, 3 points behind Melville with 14 swimmers and 3 points in front of Claremont who like us, had 9 swimmers.

Pauline and Mike each had 3 wins from their 3 events, Steve Crake made the most of being the "Young Buck" in his new age group with a win and 2 seconds, Kirk and Jenny Crake each had a win, a second and a third, Narelle with 2 seconds and a third and some excellent efforts from our other swimmers.

Our 280+ mixed freestyle team of Kirk, Pauline, Steve C and Karen placed second and our 280+ mixed medley team of Kirk, Mike, Narelle and Lyn McPhail won theirs.

There was a nice sausage sizzle afterwards, enjoyed by all, particularly Kirk who managed to make the most of the desserts (possibly to the envy of our other swimmers, haha).
