2020 Fremantle Ports Swim Thru Results

President Deb reported - What a beautiful setting South Beach is. Last Saturday saw 8 Mannas participate in the annual Fremantle Port Swim held there. Conditions were favourable for a 1.6 km or a 3.2 km swim. It was great to see new member Sue Hayes participating in her first ocean swim and it definitely will not be her last.

The 3.2 km swimmers went off first (Wayne Cable, Sue Giles, Deborah B) followed by the 1.6km event (Colleen Wray, Paul, Jacklin, Greg Cochram, Sue MacDonald, Sue Hayes).

Colleen and Paul swum side by side with them both coming in together with Sue Hayes only a minute behind them.

Alas no prizes were won by any of the swimmers and even though it was an early start during the Festive Season, all swimmers agreed it was a very enjoyable event.
