Club Subsidised 1st Aid Course

The Club has organised an ARC accredited First Aid Course (Senior First Aid - HLTAID001, HLTAID002 & HLTAID003) for members.

Subject to having sufficient numbers, the course will be presented over two Sunday afternoons on the 15th and 22nd July, from 1.30 to 5.30 pm in the club rooms at the MARC.

The cost of the course is $80.00, which includes a CPR Certificate. The Club is offering $40 subsidies to members who wish to attend; i.e. the net cost to members is only $40 ($80 - $40 = $40).

For those members, who only need to refresh their CPR qualification (HLTAID001), subject to sufficient numbers, the Club will organise a separate 2 hour course on a day yet to be confirmed. The cost of this course will be $40. In this case, the Club is offering a subsidy of $20 for members who wish to attend; i.e. the net cost to members is only $20 ($40 - $20 = $20).

We encourage members to avail themselves of this opportunity to obtain these life saving skills. Especially, anyone who swims or acts as a Spotter at Doddi's Beach and would be prepared to volunteer to render first aid should the situation arise.

Participants will need to obtain a USI number (Unique Student Identifier) and also bring along their ID. Wear comfortable clothes as you will be doing CPR on the floor and you may bring snacks if you want to have something to eat with a cuppa.

If you wish to enroll in either course, please email mandurahmannas@gmail.com with your details and nominating which course you wish to attend. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, so email the Club as soon as possible.
