First Storm Swim for 2018
Outdoor pool was closed and it was batten down the hatches overnight as the first major storm front of the year hit Mandurah. Friday morning brought a very high tide with large swell and surf at Doddi's - "ideal conditions" for a quick Reef to Groyne "swim" (that is if your not quite sane!)
The photos, from Spotter Anne Marie, show eight of our less sane but hard-core swimmers took to the surf this morning and had a great time being washed from one end of the beach to the other. So much so, they repeated the dose.
Conditions should be similar tomorrow, with a few of us planning to practice swimming backwards by attempting to swim against the current.
