Doddi's Dash/Christmas Picnic Combo

We are up-sizing the fun, fitness and friendship of our Christmas Picnic by adding large Doddi's Dash with it (or is it Dash of Doddi's)!

The day is next Sunday 10 December.

The time is 9:30am.

The place is Doddi's Beach foreshore near the Change rooms.

The day will start with a "Fashion on the Foreshore" parade compered by none other than Club celebrities and fashion gurus Kirk and Helen, who may also compete themselves.

After the fashion parade, there is just time for fashion models and spectators alike to quickly change into their racing togs and then hit the water for the much awaited 2017 Doddi's Dash 1 km Handicap Swim.

Then out of the water, pose for photos, time to quickly get dry and change before moving up to the Roberts Point end of the foreshore and indulging in a Christmas Picnic lunch and a quiet little drink or two.

Next comes sitting back relaxing and watching the presentation of: the coveted Golden Goggles to the winner of the 2017 Doddi's Dash, and spectacular prizes for the "Fashion on the Foreshore".

Just when having too much fun is never enough, with a Yo-ho-ho Santa is going to make an appearance.

For the Christmas Picnic Lunch, please bring your own picnic chairs/table/rug/plates/cutlery/etc, nibbles, BBQ meat and a salad to share. Also a wrapped present to the value of $5 for Santa's sack.

Make sure your tapering regime also includes a few days off from social activities, because you will have to be at your best to survive this day!

Even if you don't want to swim please come along to the Christmas Picnic. Hopefully, we will see as many Club members, their partners and family there as is possible!
