October Birthdays!
This month we have six Mannas looking forward to blowing out candles and eating birthday cake.
We recommend you all:
"Stop counting and smell the roses!"
First off the blocks this month is Mark on the 12th, with Linda a close second on the 16th, Wendy on the 18th, Clare and Ingrid share the 23rd and Michael on the 25th.
Some ideas for presents for the ladies are: training bikini and waterproof mascara. For the men you might go with: a waterproof man bag or a "Do not disturb swimmer" sign for those naps after training!
We also recommend treating yourself to a special "Birthday Swim Workout" as follows:
– 10×100 super easy warm-up on 2:10
– 10×100 as 25 sprint / 75 easy on 2:10

– 30×100 swim on 2:00, steady pace

– 15×100 buoy/band on 2:00, steady pace
Break for birthday cake
– 30×100 paddles/buoy/band on 1:45
– 5×100 easy cool-down as 50 kick/50 easy swim with 10 sec rest
