Congratulations Rebekah!

Congratulations to new member Rebekah Weller (pictured on the right with Captain Jen) for breaking* the long standing National Long Course Record for the 18 to 24 Age Group Female 1500m Freestyle at the Somerset LiveLighter 1500 meet today.

The National Record was previously held by Victorian swimmer Ebony Currell who set a time of 18:57.91 back in 2003. Today Rebekah swam 1500m in 18:28.74!!!

Isn't great to have yet another National Record holder in the club to join Gerda, Pauline, Rod, Ivan and Ryan!!
