A Cold Canadian Winter's Day!
This is the latest message and photos from Kirk in Canada!
Hi Folks,
It was a cold -16C and overcast in Kelowna on Wednesday, but look at the conditions at the top of Big White ski resort! No line ups, no wind, no people, perfect snow conditions, and a bluest of painful blue sky.
Cold but I was skiing so hard that I was quite comfortable. Most of the day I went top to bottom non stop with no one else in sight. 9:30 in the morning to 3:30 pm with one 15 minute stop for a bite to eat and never did the same run twice! Last two runs were just cruisers on the intermediate slopes as the legs were pure jelly!
Only thing that would have made it better would be a ski buddy like son Rob or grandson Anthony or what about Roger Passmore to show me the lines through the moguls like the old days!
All the best Kirk
