Tuesdays and Thursdays are Club training sessions led by our Master's accredited Club Coaches. Each lane caters for a different level of fitness and ability. Members select the lane that suits their ability.

All swimmers are advised to put in only as much effort as they are comfortable with.

Vorgee Endurance 1000 swims are an excellent way of monitoring your own fitness.  The program is designed to encourage people to compete in distances from 400m to 60 minutes duration in a varity of strokes.  Vorgee swims will be revamped in 2024.

Mandurah's Masters Coaches (L to R) - Wayne Cable and Des Seery (Director of Coaching).

In addition to Tuesday and Thursdays, periodically our coaches run swimming technique workshops. The goal is to provide a clear understanding of the most efficient technique for effortless swimming.

Workshops are run as an open session with theoretical and practical land sessions followed by a pool session to try out drills, video self-analysis and corrections.

All levels of swimmers are invited (ocean or pool).

If you are interested in becoming a Club Coach, which can be a rewarding personal experience and a valuable contribution to the swimming community, the Masters Swimming Australia (MSA) Club Coach Accreditation Program provides trainees with the basic coaching knowledge and skills of swimming to enable them to be effective Masters coaches. The course has an integrated learning structure which allows for flexible transition from theory to practice through self-paced online learning and assessment and practical pool deck experience and mentoring.

This course is accredited with Sport Australia in line with National Sporting Organisation Quality Assurance guidelines.

Our coaches are our club’s greatest asset!
