Prizes will be awarded to all participants.
After the swim, children can enjoy a sausage sizzle, kidzone activities on the foreshore, watch parents swim or just play on the beach.

Swimmer Safety
Swimmer safety is of paramount importance to event organisers. To that end, they have striven to put in place the most rigorous safety measures, including:
-
Ensuring the event complies fully with Masters Swimming Western Australia's strict safety and sanctioning requirements;
-
Choosing Doddi's beach, because its protected shallow water, meets stringent venue selection criteria;
-
Swimmers must wear high visibility swim caps and attend a compulsory race briefing;
-
Prior to and during the swims, the course and swimmers are protected and under constant surveillance:
-
Trained, experienced and vigilant officials that operate under a strict risk management safety plan with the authority to cancel, postpone or suspend the event on the spot.
-
On the water by numerous Rescue Craft (Marine Rescue Boats, Jet Skis and Paddlers) patrolling within as well as around the perimeter of the course; and
-
On the beach, by lifeguards patrolling the beach.
